Marilyn Manson's Nightmare Before Chirstmas?

Actually, I find this quite fitting...

At the link below, you can hear Marilyn Manson singing "This Is Halloween." I think he finally found his way into mainstream pop. They say that every 30 years one generation's rebellious music becomes their children or grand children's nursery rhymes. What this means is that if you put "The Wiggles" into a time machine and set it back to 1950, Graceland would suddenly be Australia's biggest tourist attraction and "In The Ghetto" would be sung in four part harmony. Also "Jail House Rock" would probably have references to a Pirate, an Octopus and a Dog.

Over HERE you will find everything you need to know about the release (or re-release) of The Nightmare Before Christmas In 3D including the Manson cover!

Disney says:

Tim Burton's holiday classic, THE NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS, makes a return to the big screen just in time to celebrate the film's 13th Anniversary this Halloween in stunning Disney Digital 3D(TM). The dazzling new make-over of the musical-fantasy was led by the film's original filmmaking team of Academy Award(R) nominated writer/producer Tim Burton ("Charlie and the Chocolate Factory," "Corpse Bride") and director Henry Selick ("James and the Giant Peach") as well as the talented technical wizards at Industrial Light + Magic. Audiences will get closer than ever to Halloweentown's beloved Pumpkin King, Jack Skellington (voice of Chris Sarandon), as he attempts to take over the Christmas holiday. Against the advice of Sally (voice of Catherine O'Hara), a lonely rag doll who has feelings for him, Jack enlists three mischievous trick-or-treaters -- Lock, Shock, and Barrel -- to help him kidnap Santa Claus. Jack eventually realizes his mistake but has to contend with the evil Oogie Boogie before he can make things right and restore the Christmas holiday.

"The Nightmare Before Christmas 2-Disc Special Edition Soundtrack"

Disc One of the soundtrack includes the original score and ten songs by Grammy®- and Emmy®-winning, Oscar®-nominated composer-songwriter Danny Elfman.

Disc Two contains nine songs: five new versions of original soundtrack songs specially re-recorded by alternative rock superstars Marilyn Manson, Panic! At the Disco, Fall Out Boy, Fiona Apple and She Wants Revenge, plus four never-before-released demo tracks performed by Danny Elfman.

A pulsing, electric-guitar-driven "This Is Halloween" shows off the dark side of Halloween and the many voices of Marilyn Manson.

On the opposite end of the spectrum, Fiona Apple's moody voice echoes Sally's longing and despair in "Sally's Song."

Fall Out Boy contributes a jubilant, propulsive version of "What's This?"

That contrasts with the electronic, post-punk aesthetic She Wants Revenge brings to "Kidnap the Sandy Claws."

Panic! At the Disco delivers their own unique, sweeping and lushly orchestrated twist on "This Is Halloween."

Rounding out the disc are four previously unreleased demo tracks -
"Making Christmas,"
"Oogie Boogie's Song,"
"Kidnap the Sandy Claws"
"This is Halloween" - from the singing voice of Jack Skellington himself, Danny Elfman.
